Engaging in Freshers’ Week is the best way to meet new people when you’re starting out at uni.

Support is available at both the University and the Students’ Union. Email ask@wrexham.ac.uk or check out the Support page on the University’s website. 

The Students’ Union has its own free, independent and confidential Advice service. We are able to help you with matters relating to complaints, academic appeals and extenuating circumstances.

There are a number of GP surgeries in the Wrexham area that you will be able to join.

You can find the best one for you online, and they will be able to provide you with a registration form to fill out for the practice.

You can attend Freshers’ 2025 evening events without a wristband and pay an entry fee on the door.

However, if you’re planning to attend multiple events during the week, you’ll save over 50% off on-the-door prices by purchasing a Freshers’ wristband.

The wristband guarantees you entry to all of our evening events throughout the week, meaning you pay no on-the-door fees.

There’s also a period at the start of the event where wristbands are given priority over on-the-door entry, meaning that if the venue is reaching capacity, you’ve got that extra peace of mind by having a wristband, as you’ve essentially already paid for your entry at a much cheaper rate. 

The University will contact you via email with details of what day to arrive on campus for the first time to enrol. Please keep an eye on your email inbox so you don’t miss anything important! 

Got a room at Wrexham Student Village?

If you have reserved a room at Wrexham Student Village, you will be given a move-in slot by the Accommodation team in advance of your move-in date.

Most move-in days are happening on:

• Friday 19th September
• Saturday 20th September
• Sunday 21st September
