COVID-19 Information

An Update from your Students' Union - Updated 05/01/2021

Following the latest government announcements in England and Wales, we can confirm that all of our campuses and facilities, including accommodation, remain open and operating in a Covid-secure way. You are allowed to travel to campus for educational purposes or to return to your accommodation.

Universities in Wales have agreed a staggered start to the semester in line with Welsh Government guidance – if you are returning to or joining us this semester, please continue to follow your timetable which can be accessed here. Any changes to your timetable will be communicated to you by your programme leader or be visible on the timetable system.

All students are encouraged to get a free lateral flow test on their return to campus. These are available Monday – Friday between 9am – 5pm until January 15 at the Catrin Finch Centre on the Plas Coch campus. For more information about lateral flow testing, click here. Please do not come onto campus if you have any Covid-19 symptoms – the lateral flow testing is only for people displaying no Coronavirus symptoms.

Please remember to adhere to all social distancing measures when on campus, including wearing a face mask at all times when in public indoor or outdoor spaces.

Most of our services are remaining operational and the Students' Union reception can still be contacted at for any general enquiries.

The shop will no longer be open and will be operating a closed-door policy.

The Advice Centre will be accepting telephone appointments as normal. If you would like to speak to one of our advisors, please email
