Due to recent events surrounding the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Student’s Union Awards evening. This decision was not taken lightly and the safety of staff and students are our main priority.
Although the awards evening have been cancelled we feel that it is still important to shed some positivity during this time and will keep nominations open until Friday 17th April 2020. We are in the process of planning some creative ways to announce the winners who will receive their trophies upon their return to the University.
So let University staff, lecturers and your fellow students know how much you value them by nominating them here:
You can nominate by clicking the categories section below but make sure you read the criteria before you fill out your nomination. Staff and students can nominate individuals, teams or departments including the University’s cleaning staff, catering staff, careers, inclusion, library and I.T, academic staff, Students’ Union staff and Sports and Societies.
We hope you can help us in beating last year’s record amount of nominations, a staggering 480 nominations!
The deadline to submit your nomination is 12 Noon on Friday 17th April 2020!
