Wrexham Glyndwr University societies ZooSoc and Botanical Society came together last week to create WGU Northop’s very own wild flower garden in conjunction with Go Green week which they were later featured on People and Plant’s web site for.

Lead by Wildlife and Plant Biology Student Dan Shutt who collected the seeds over a period of a few months.

Wildflower gardens are important to support dwindling populations of native pollinators and ultimately benefits human populations as well as the environment.
