Who can join a society, team, or volunteer role?
All current Wrexham University students can get involved!
Can I join more than one?
Yes! You can join multiple societies, play in different teams, and take on volunteering roles at the same time.
Do I need experience to get involved?
No experience is necessary. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to develop skills, there’s a place for you.

Is there a cost?
Society membership is usually included in your SU membership. Sports teams require Tîm Wrecsam membership, and volunteering is free.
Are there any sports activities in the wider Wrexham community I can join?
Yes! Wrexham has lots of local clubs and leagues. Try tennis at Wrexham Tennis Centre, or explore community options for archery, fencing, and more. Find out more on the Wrexham Council website.
