Welcome to Men's Badminton!

 

To join the team, you must purchase a Tîm Wrecsam Membership. Your first session is a free taster! 

 

Some need-to-know information:

• 6 players needed to field a full team for BUCS Wednesday fixtures
• Players must purchase a Tîm Wrecsam Membership ahead of the first fixture (9/10/24)
• Training will take place at the WU Sports Hall on Tuesdays from 16:00-18:00
• We compete in the BUCS league (Tier 5-5a).

The format for BUCS fixtures is as follows:

 

BAD 6.2 Order of play. The singles players and doubles pairs for each fixture shall all be ranked in order of playing strength. The order of play for each match shall be as follows (home team placings first):

Singles        1v2

Singles        2v1

Doubles      1v2

Doubles      2v1

Singles        1v1

Singles        2v2

Doubles      1v1

Doubles      2v2

 

A player cannot play singles and doubles during the same match. (BAD 7.1.1)
