Are you passionate about animals, wildlife, and the natural world, or maybe you are just a big fan of dogs? Join the Zoology and Wildlife Society, where students with a love for animals and nature can connect, learn, and go on fun adventures togethers.

 

 

Our society is a welcoming space for those who want to share their passion for animals and the natural world with a huge focus on making friends, improving mental health and helping new students get to know the Wrexham area,  

 

 

We host monthly outings to engage with wildlife and nature firsthand—whether it's volunteering at an animal rescue, exploring museums, zoo visits, fun days out, going on guided nature walks, participating in local wildlife monitoring projects, and most importantly pub quizzes and fancy dress parties!!

 

 

These outings provide a great opportunity to gain practical experience, deepen your knowledge, and meet like-minded peers who share your interests. Planned activities will be organised on a student led basis - meaning we want to hear your intrerests and ideas so we can plan something you will really enjoy.

We also post animal and nature-related job opportunities and internships available in the area to help you take the next step in your academic, professional or personal journey.
