  I don't really use the library extensively but my two adult children use the libraries at their respective universities extensively and prefer working there to working from home, sometimes until about 7pm at night. I could certainly see the benefit on Saturdays. I guess the issue that arises would be a staffing one.

  I would benefit for Saturday and Sunday opening hours as there is not much time during the week for students like me who have other family responsibilities. and often just find time on weekends to use the facilities

  I have my classes in the evening in Uni due to working full time as well. the library is often closed when I finish and I am unable to come in during the daytime. Later opening hours would definitely benefit me and the others on my course.
