If unexpected events prevent you from submitting assignments or attending exams, you can submit an EC claim.

When to apply
Within 15 days after the assessment deadline.
How to apply
Complete the online form via MyUniPortal, clearly explaining your circumstances.
Evidence
Independent, professional evidence relevant to the assessment period is required.
Possible Outcomes
- Further assessment opportunity as the same attempt
- Resit as first attempt (uncapped mark, no fees)
If rejected
You can appeal, but grounds are limited.
