The Students’ Union bar and pizzeria, The Lazy Lion is now back open with longer hours, fresh pizza and even more good times! 

Situated at the heart of the Students’ Union building, it’s the perfect place for students and staff to relax and meet. We have a full schedule of events lined up for this semester. Every penny spent in the Lazy Lion goes directly back into funding the services and activities of the Students’ Union, helping to make students’ time at Glyndwr the best it can be!

Use our space…

We’ve done a complete refresh of our opening hours, so we’re now open well into the evening from Monday through to Thursday night. Our bar and lounge is the perfect space to host an event or meeting; being fully equipped to support a variety of activities. 

We have a stage area, full PA system, projector and a massive zone to sit down, play pool or even table football. Additionally, we have the pizzeria and full bar available day and night to make your gathering that little bit more special. There’s even a microwave for you to heat up your goodies if pizza isn’t your thing. 

Heading into town for a few drinks? Why not start your night with us at the only place in Wrexham catering specifically for you; our students.

If you’re feeling extra studious, there’s a small cluster of computers at your disposal so you feel less guilty about procrastination in your student station! 

Offers on drinks are in absolute abundance, too, with deals such as 3 Kopparbergs for £6.50 or 3 Jägerbombs for £5! And if that’s not up your street, we’ve got a huge range of other drinks for you to try. 

Part of a society? What a perfect place to meet up on campus and fully indulge in student life. 

So relax on one of our comfy sofas or chairs as we play a variety of music to boost your spirits while you socialise with your fellow students. It’s your Students’ Union, just the way you want it.
