...Because who doesn’t love GIFs?

As you can imagine, there are loads of reasons why you should vote in the elections, but we planned to keep this blog short and sweet! After all, you’ll probably want to spend more time looking at the candidate manifestos! So, why should you vote?

1. This is about YOU!

The elected officers of the Students' Union are here to work for YOU. The SU strives to make your experience at University the best it can be. What matters to you, matters to us.

2. To see change for the better

Every candidate running in the elections is passionate about making certain changes at the University. This is the perfect time to read their manifestos!

3. Your voice always matters

Once you have voted and the officers are elected - it doesn’t just end there. You can hold the elected officers to account if they’re not fulfilling what they set out to do throughout the year.

 

So, there you have it! Do you already know who you’re voting for? Or perhaps you will decide after reading through the manifestos again?

Every vote matters, so we cannot encourage you enough to vote and make it count!

Voting opens next Monday 16th at 9am, and closes on Wednesday 18th at 5pm. To vote, simply visit the SU website and click the elections banner!
