In the election for Student Council Chair there were TWO candidates, Sai Gandehesiri and Reopen Nominations standing for one available position.

 

There were 226 valid votes cast.

Re-open nominations received 31 votes

Sai Gandhesiri received 195 votes

Sai Gandhesiri is therefore duly elected as Student Council Chair

 

International Students’ Officer

 

In the election for International Students’ Officer there were TWO candidates, Keyur Vaghela and Reopen Nominations standing for one available position.

 

There were 232 valid votes cast.

Re-open nominations received 42 votes

Keyur Vaghela received 190 votes

Keyur Vaghela is therefore duly elected as International Students’ Officer

 

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer

 

In the election for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer there were THREE candidates,

Pulkit Tokas, Daniel Roberts and Reopen Nominations standing for one available position.

 

There were 212 valid votes cast.

Re-open nominations received 11 votes

Pulkit Tokas received 69 votes

Daniel Roberts received 132 votes

Daniel Roberts is therefore duly elected as Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Students’ Officer

 

Vice President

 

In the election for Vice President there were FOUR candidates. Ed Richards, Freya Groom, Ajay Raju and Reopen Nominations standing for one available position.

 

There were 460 valid votes cast. In the first round of voting:

Re-open nominations received 12 votes.

Ed Richards received 181 votes

Freya Groom received 183 votes.

Ajay Raju received 84 votes.

 

As the quota was not met, we therefore went to a second round where re-open nominations and Ajay Raju were eliminated. 

 

In the second stage of voting:

Ed Richards received 212 votes.

Freya Groom received 221 votes.

Freya Groom is therefore duly elected as Vice President.

 

Students’ Union President

 

In the election for Students’ Union President, there were TWO candidates. Maisie Head and Reopen Nominations.

 

There were 353 valid votes cast.

Re-open nominations received 40 votes.

Maisie Head received 313 votes.

Maisie Head is therefore duly elected as President.
