After the success of the Makaton Level 1 course last year we are pleased to be able to provide you an opportunity for further courses this year!

We have been successful with applications for funding from the CSP and the SU for these courses, as well as subsidising them further through use of society funds. Therefore, we are able to provide these at a significantly subsidised rate!

Usually these courses cost £80-£90 each but we are providing them each for £15 per person!

 

 

Makaton is a unique language programme that uses symbols, signs and speech to enable people to communicate.

 

It supports the development of essential communication skills such as attention and listening, comprehension, memory, recall and organisation of language and expression.

Please do feel free to share the above courses with other students at Wrexham University, individuals who want to attend would just need to be a member of the society and this is free to join via the SU website.
