Welcome to ‘Think Green’ our sustainability society! 

  

The society has lots of exciting events, trips and activities including our Go Green Week, which is the annual nationwide celebration offering students the opportunity to organise a range of fun and engaging activities to raise awareness of sustainable living. 

  

The aim for the sustainable society is to work collaboratively with other stake holders including the nature-based social prescribing project and to meet the criteria of the Green Impact programme and achieve an Excellent award. Working on this programme will give you the opportunity to receive training, attend workshops and collaborate with other Students’ Unions.  

  

Being part of the sustainable society will also include attending the WGSU (Wrexham Glyndwr Students Union) sustainable committee which shapes campaigns and puts change at the forefront of Think Green!   

 

So, if you’re passionate about protecting the environment come and join our Think Green Society.
