Meet your Sustainability Officer 

Name: Dan Holmes

Hello there!

My name is Dan Holmes! I’m your Sustainability Officer for 2022-2023 & I’m currently in my final year studying Renewable & Sustainable Engineering.

I really do have a passion for going green, whether it be using less single use plastics to eating less meat. My role in the university will involve working with the university, the SU and you (the person reading this!) to make Glyndwr’s impact on the globe as green as possible. Making life for us and generations to come, better, as climate change will affect anyone and everyone.

Whilst we as a university have achieved an Excellent in Green Impact in the past, we still need to strive to achieve this in the future and maintain our high standards and I believe we can. I shall be ensuring that our University and the Student’s Union put sustainability at the forefront of every decision made and I’ll do that by sitting on all the Sustainability Committees, putting mine and all your ideas forward.
