About Marc

Hi! My name is Marc and I am the Head of Membership Services at WGSU. My role is to oversee the management of the three main services we provide which is Student Voice, Advice and Guidance and Sport and Activities. I also support your full-time and part-time officers to fulfil their commitments to you. I also oversee the Students’ Union Elections and Student Council where students are able to steer the work we do. As a member of the senior management team, I oversee the key events within the academic calendar and support the CEO on delivering the organisation's strategy, policies and procedures alongside deputising on occasion. Another part of my role is to champion sustainability within the organisation and encourage staff and students to take part in sustainability initiatives. 

I am a fluent Welsh speaker :) 

Fun Fact – Outside of work I am a keen dancer and an avid netball player!
