Currently our Art Shop, the only art shop in wrexham, only opens 4 hours a day, 5 times a week, which really isn't long enough for the art students of regent street to get any supplies as well as Karen the shop owner to do a stock check, order equipment and run the shop all at once. Also, most students get either a new brief or a project after lunch, which ends at 1pm, to where they may need equipment or supplies which is located in the art shop. Unfortunalty at this time the shop is shut. Therefore they either have to go into town, spend a few hours looking for what they need or they wait until the next day to start the project. This affects both the shop and the students ability to run smoothly. 

I propose on behalf of regent street art students that the shop should stay open longer and atleast give time to Karen during lunchtime, for example: for her to either sort out stock, take in and register deliveries as well as have a dinner break.

I believe if the shop were to stay open, it would benifit the students mainly, as well as the intake for the shop. Doing this would give the students less hassle and stress about getting equipment.

Hopefully we can ressolve this before the first set of assessments which is just around the corner.
